Boreal Times

Boreal Times publishes four pieces a week, one in each section: Capital, Territory, Objects and Circle. It does not cover the news cycle — it covers how wealth moves, where it settles, what it collects and who decides. The reader it addresses already has too much information and too little time.

The publisher is Boreal Times AS, registered in Norway. The paper appears in Portuguese and English, and its coverage currently concentrates on the Brazilian market, where the newsroom has source relationships built over nine years of journalism.

Being edited outside the country it covers has a practical consequence: the publication depends on no advertiser, auction house or developer in the market it examines.

What we don’t do

We don’t publish paid content disguised as reporting. When a brand covers access, travel or an invitation, it is stated at the foot of the piece, on its own line.

We don’t recommend investments and we are not advisers. We explain mechanism, provenance and context. The decision, and the responsibility for it, belong to the reader and their advisers.

We broker nothing and take commission on nothing we cover. We sell information, and nothing else.

We don’t publish under a collective byline. Every piece carries a named writer and the date reporting closed.
