Boreal Times

Capital · Territory · Objects · Circle

The four sections

Money, place, things and people. One piece in each, every week.

An issue carries four pieces. We do not chase the news cycle or try to be comprehensive: we cover the four axes along which wealth organises itself.

Capital

How money moves. Holding structures, succession planning, closed-end funds, private credit, regulatory change, and what large families are deciding before the decision becomes news.

We describe the movement and explain the mechanism. We do not name assets, project returns or judge whether something is a good investment — that conversation belongs to the reader and their advisers.

Territory

Where wealth settles. Prime property on and off the open market, tax residency, citizenship by investment, jurisdictions opening and closing, and what shifts when one of them changes its rules.

Objects

What wealth collects. Art, watches, cars, wine, boats. Treated as material culture: who made it, why it matters, how the market has behaved, what provenance reveals.

We write about objects the way one writes about architecture or music — with aesthetic and historical judgement, not as a sales catalogue.

Circle

Who decides and where to be. Profiles of people who move capital, auction houses, clubs, foundations, the season. It includes a diary of the next thirty days with a verdict beside each entry: go, send someone, skip.
